Currently, I a creating a series of wall mounted platters for the World Wildlife Fund. Each platter (22" across) will depict animals who are currently on the Endangered Species List and need better protection. The following image is one of many which will each be unique and hard-carved from two different types of clay. Proceeds will benefit the World Wildlife Fund and the important mission to keep these animals on earth for generations to come.

New Works
Lately the work has been moving towards my increasing concern for our environment and protecting nature. I have been studying the layers of earth in hopes of producing large wall pieces that represent the planet - core to surface. This is just the beginning of what I hope will be a series of 12. This pieces ultimately will have glaze and finish to represent inner core (solid heat), outer core (liquid heat), the mantle (rock) and the crust/surface (water).
The vase/globe like shapes will represent water in motion.

All materials are included and students will have the option to hand paint with underglazes same day or choose from the LBIF’s glazes. Students return to pick up their work once fired | ||||||||||

Bohemian Rhapsody
The wonderfully talented duo, Angela McCluskey and Paul Cantelon, are both dear friends and have been supporters of my work for years. Within the delightfully original home live many of my bowls, teapots and vases - several seen in this beautiful photo of Madame McCluskey herself.
Click on link to see full article and most certainly investigate their music - magic for the ears and soul.
