About Me

Kerith
Humbled, as a clay artist & teacher 15 years. Varied - past Art Director in Independent Film, a Landscape Designer & a designer for NYC architectural firms. Thrilled, to design tableware for award winning NYC restaurants, “Mark Forgione & Boise, a West Village Tea House. Happily, partnered with designers to create site -specific pieces for residence & commercial spaces. Humored, by appearing on ABC's 20/20 teaching a pottery lesson and a PUMA sportswear commercial “throwing a pot”. Grateful, to have taught pottery to developmentally challenged children & adults & patients at Memorial Sloan Cancer Center Hospital. Privileged, to receive a scholarship to attend internationally recognized, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Honored, to serve on the Board of Directors for LEEP Beyond, a NFP offering therapy & education programs in Art, Music & Science for challenged children. Passionate, to protect the Environment and Endangered Species, latest works hope to raise awareness. Joy-filled teaching pottery in NYC studios, NYC Public Schools and the LBI Foundation of Arts and Sciences. Curious, about the world I’ve traveled, lived or worked in nearly 40 countries.
